Rooting began on the heels of celebrating Black people on Juneteenth; in the midst of civil unrest as a result of the death of George Floyd. We realized that communities needed more spaces dedicated to celebrating themselves while not losing sight of the bigger picture of progress.
At Rooting, community is what motivates us.
We are devoted to creating spaces that promote authenticity, optimism, and enable communities to interact with and push the culture forward through actively giving back to the community.
We have built a platform that enables everyone across the Black diaspora and its allies to have a valuable and differentiated social experience, all while actively giving back to the community at the same time.
Always Be Yourself. Drink, dance, socialize, meet new parts of the culture – and leave with a joyful feeling, knowing that Rooting events are more than parties.
